Price of Mexican Asparagus in the US Falls 32% MoM Due to Earlier Supply

The price for asparagus in the US market declined at the start of Oct-22 due to heavy supply caused by an early Mexican season and Peruvian asparagus still being l in the market. The price for Mexican green asparagus in the Los Angeles wholesale market on W42 stood at USD 5/kg, a decrease of 32.5% MoM and a 30% fall from last year's same week.
