Blackberry Wholesale Prices in the US Soar YoY due Increase in Demand

Blackberry wholesale prices in the US have increased by 88% YoY by Week 4 in 2022. The fresh blackberry price in the US reached USD 8.33/kg, while the same week in the previous year was USD 4.41/kg. An increase in demand for berries in the US throughout the end of the year, the end of the Californian blackberry season, and lower volumes from Mexico have caused the price increase.
