2020 Garlic Export & Imports Update: Europe

Spanish garlic exports to Germany has increased 57% YoY in December 2020 compared to the same month in 2019. Germany is the largest importer of Spanish garlic in entire Europe, occupying 8.2% of the world total imports. Along with Germany, most of the garlic importers in Europe increased their trade volume in year 2020, including UK, France, Italy and Portugal. The direct imports from Spain is getting more rapid growth than the re-exports from Netherlands.
