Mexican Cucumber Prices Soaring due to various factors

The wholesale price of cucumber in Mexico surged by +20.25% YoY. The price reached USD 0.81/kg in W5 Feb-22, which was 0.68/kg in the same period a year ago. Abnormal weather disrupted Mexican cucumber production, at the same time improves demand in the US for Mexican cucumber led the price to surge. High energy cost also put pressure of cucumber price in Mexico in February 2022.
