After Three Months of Low Price, Egyptian Garlic Price Recovers Thanks To The Seasonal Demand

Garlic price in Egypt increased by +50% MoM to USD 0.48/kg in W3 Jun-22. Since Jan-22, wholesale garlic prices in Egypt have decreased due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. After three consecutive months of record-low prices from March to May as Egypt was unable to export to their largest garlic importer, Russia, prices increased in Jun-22 as Eid Al-Adha approaches from July 9th to July 13th.
