Kiwifruit Prices in China are Cheaper Due to Abundant Harvest in Domestic Market

The price of kiwifruit fell -14.19% YoY and the fruit sold for USD 0.74 per kg in the first week of January 2022. The price fell due to oversupply which resulted in lower market price. Moreover, farmers often harvest too early, making the kiwifruit taste too sour and less attractive to consumers.
