High Demand for Peanuts and Stable Price in Brazil

The peanut wholesale price in Brazil tends to be stable from the last year's price at the level of 0.82 USD/KG in W3 September 2021. Meanwhile, peanut wholesale prices in China and Indonesia rose slightly to 1.7 USD/KG and 1.85 USD/KG respectively. In 2020, the demand for Brazilian peanuts has increased, making the exports value increase to almost 110 million USD. Peanuts demand in China has also increased, making the import value almost doubled. The opposite happened in Indonesia, where there were restrictions due to COVID-19 which caused peanut imports to decline.
