Increased Supply Depressed Wholesale Apple Prices in Colombia by 6% WoW

Following several weeks of consistent price increases for fresh apples of the Royal Gala variety in Colombia, the wholesale price dropped 6% WoW to USD 1.81/kg in W3. According to Jose Caballero, Tridge's Senior Manager in Colombia, the upward trend was disrupted by an oversupply of Royal Gala's apples from Chile.
