Price of Türkiye’s Pomegranate Skyrocketed by 233% MoM Due to Increased Input Costs and Lower Supply

In Türkiye, the wholesale price of fresh pomegranate in W6 of October skyrocketed to USD 0.42/kg, increasing by 233% MoM from USD 0.18/kg in W3 of September 22. Lower production combined with galloping costs of input like gas and storage costs were the main drivers of higher prices.
