Price of Quinoa in Peru Increase as Demand on the Rise

Peruvian quinoa prices rose 11.69% YoY to USD 1.94/kg in W4 Jun-22. The lower supply of corn and wheat led to increased demand for alternative grains and cereals and consumers' tendency to consume products with higher health benefits. This drove the Peruvian quinoa price to rise in June 2022.
