Mexican Import Threatens US Local Raspberry Prices

The wholesale price of raspberries dropped with -16.98% YoY and the US can only sell this fruit for USD 10.78 per kg in the fourth week of December 2021. Mexican raspberries quite dominate the US market, in other words, there is a tight market between cheap imports of Mexican raspberries and local US products. This resulted in local raspberry prices dropping attracting more buyers.
