The wholesale price of Indonesian rice on 14 June 2021 decreased by -1.2% to 0.85 USD per KG, which was 0.86 USD per KG in the previous year. The price slowly declined in W3 November 2021 by -1.77% YoY to 0.84 USD per KG. November is the harvest season of Indonesian rice in Central Java province with favorable weather expected to increase production in 2021 to 33 million tonnes. In addition, Indonesia has 1.39 million tonnes of rice stocks that can fulfill national demand by the end of the year.
