Wholesale Price of Russian Cucumber Slid as Imported and Domestic Supply Floods the Market

The wholesale price of fresh cucumber in Russia dropped 47.14% YoY to USD 0.76/kg in W4 of April 2022., compared to the same period a year ago at USD 1.44/kg. The main reason for the price drop was the arrival of fresh cucumbers from domestic producers and the increased import of traditional Russian trading countries, mainly China.
