High Demand raises prices of France's imported Salmon

The wholesale price of salmon Atlantic in France surged by +24.62% YoY. The price was valued at USD 14.32 per kg in W6 January 2022, which was USD 11.49 per kg in 2021. High consumption of salmon in France led to the price increase in January 2022. France has to rely more on salmon imports to satisfy the demand and increase supply from Norway up to 11.7% in the first eleven months of 2021.
