Russian Wheat Bran Price Soar Along With High Demand

The farmgate price of wheat bran in Russia rose +68.09% YoY to 0.17 USD/KG in W5 September 2021. Last year, global wheat bran exports increased by 125M USD due to strong demand. Turkey, which relies on 95% of wheat imports from Russia, increased its import value last year to 119M USD as a result of lower wheat bran. While this year, wheat bran imports continued to rise to 41M USD in April with the largest share from Russia and Ukraine.
