Surging Production Costs in Central America have US Melon Prices Soaring

Skyrocketing inputs costs in melon production in Central America have started to substantially increase prices in the US. The price of all Central American melons has increased substantially in the US, with Guatemala registering a 95% YoY increase, Honduran melons by 51%, and Mexican melons by 15%.
