Soybean and sunflower meal prices in Spain retracted slightly in a correction after the recent price increase was overdone. Wholesale soybean meal prices where USD 0.64/kg in the first week of April, 3% lower than the high of USD 0.66 made three weeks before, but up 54% from a year ago. Sunflower meal prices followed the same trend, and was USD 0.42/kg on a wholesale basis in the first week of April, slightly lower than the high of USD 0.44/kg on March 14th.
