Wholesale sweet corn prices in South Africa increased to USD1.28/kg in W3 April 2022, up 28% YoY. The upward trend is being supported by high global prices amid the conflict in the Black Sea area. Rising fertilizer and pesticide costs have accelerated the price surge.
