Taiwan Frozen Whole Tilapia Average Monthly Price Falls to Second-Lowest Since Jul 2021

The average wholesale price of frozen whole tilapia during September 2022 was the second lowest since July 2021, at TWD 53.4/kg. A possible explanation for the price decline, in addition to inflationary pressure on consumers which has hampered demand for many products, is an abundance of the fish in the domestic market, given less exports this year.
