The Price for Strawberry in Georgia Spiked 29% MoM on Strong Demand as Season Ends

As the strawberry season in Georgia winds down, the market is left with only the remontant varieties from open fields and greenhouses. Due to lower availability, the average monthly price by the end of June was at USD 2.55/kg, a 29% MoM increase from May's monthly average price. Higher demand in the local market is still present despite lower availability, which has supported the price increase.
