In 2020, the demand for Turkish seabass from European and North American countries continued to increase rapidly, especially its exports to the US, which increased by more than 50% in one year. The US took over 34.22M USD worth of Turkey's exports and dominated the seabass market. Even the Netherlands, which 3 years ago fell to -22.83%, now shows a positive import rate of +3.33%. Turkey, which now ranks second as the world's largest supplier, competes with Greece which is also expanding and increasing its exports to major buyers.
