US Imports more Garlic in 2021

The decline in garlic import prices that occurred in the US made the total import volume increase to reach 25 M pounds in June 2021. The low prices pushed a higher market demand, and this happened to the US which imported more garlic in 2021. At the same time, China as the major exporter of garlic to US has lowered its supply to the US due to the Covid-19 pandemic that affecting global distribution and shipments.
