Weaker grape prices while US hold back Mexican imports

Published 2021년 7월 16일
Global grape imports from the US decline in 2021. Chile and Mexico as the largest suppliers are now reducing the total exports to the country significantly. The rapid increase in volume was only seen from Peru. A significant decline from Mexico now only allows the country to export around 1,157 thousand pounds worth 524,280 thousand USD. The decline in exports was in line with drop prices at the beginning of the year. Mexico, which has been exporting a sizeable amount to the United States, is at least waiting for market prices to recover.
