Kiwifruit imports from the US rise as prices are high in the market

Kiwi imports from the US are mostly happened all year-round. Meanwhile, in 2021 the best record for US import did occur in March amounting to 12,178 thousand pounds due to increased seasonal demands from Italy and Greece. Meanwhile Chile has set April as the best time to import more to the US since the prices in the market are rising high. As prices stabilize around March and April, the Chilean export value to the US in the first quarter could exceeds last year's. Exports from Chile increase by 10% in April 2021, coinciding with more favorable prices for the country.
