US's import dependency on Kenyan macadamia is strengthened

Kenyan macadamia nut exports rebounded as it enter April, successfully maintaining volumes of 6,037K pounds from lower total values in the same period. The US is now starting to consume more macadamia nuts from Kenya, while US demand from other exporters has fallen drastically as happened in South Africa, which was almost twice as low in recent April. Meanwhile, the US is still the world's largest importer with a total value reaching 150.65M USD in 2020 maintaining 27.99% of the total market share in the world.
