US Import More Oranges from Chile and South Africa

The US appears to be importing more oranges from Chile, Mexico and South Africa. Its value rose significantly in May. A notable jump occurred in Chile which previously could only export around 128 thousands USD in May 2020 to 1,217 thousand USD in the same period. Apart from Chile, South Africa has also shown a fairly high increase in exports around May 2021. This is also in line with the increase in the total supply of oranges that can be sent from both countries. US mostly importing oranges in a sizeable amount around July until October. However, the exports still continue in the first half of this year.
