US walnut prices decline and the exports plunge in 2020

The decline in walnut exports from the US was quite significant with a difference of 100M USD from last year's value. Its exports fell globally in line with falling prices in the market; walnut prices sold for 3.62 USD per KG in the first week of June 2021. Turkey and the UAE were the main importers with the significant declines. However, US walnut exports have not fallen further as India doubled its demand from last year.
