Chile is the 5th largest supplier of avocados from around the world and represents 5% market share of the world´s total exported Avocado. Common consensus is that, taste wise, due to it´s dry matter and oil content, it is the best tasting avocado available!

The exports of Chilean avocado go to the most demanding markets around the world such as many countries of the European Union, like Germany, France, Spain and Holland, and in Asia, South Korea, China and Japan are also regular destinations. The majority of avocado producers from Chile are located between 5th and 6th region of Chile; this includes areas like San Antonio, Valparaíso, Los Andes as well as Rancagua, San Fernando & Curicó.

Tridge is the largest importer of avocados in Korea and one of the largest Chilean avocado importers in China. Chile is known with Haas avocados at top quality. Exportable avocados are available in between September to February from different regions of Chile.
