Yellowfin tuna, one of the ocena's fastest swimmer reaches weight of 130~180kg and has a length range of 110~210cm. Yellowfin Tuna tends to have a longer lifespan than a skipjack tuna. Yellowfin tuna is bigger in size than skipjack tuna and is mostly used for canned tuna, but is also used as sushi largely in the United States. From India, these are mostly exported in frozen states. Apart from India, the other major producers of yellowfin tuna are Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Maldives, and Spain. They are used widely in Japanese and Indonesian cuisine.
