India is one of the largest producers of coconut in the world. The main planting season is June through August. However, under sustained irrigation and water availability, the time frame can be extended. In Kerala of Southern India (the largest producer) or West Bengal, the monsoon arrives earlier in May. Because our coconuts are grown in the South, East, and Northeast of India, harvesting is available almost all year round. Our mature coconuts are a new hybrid form with mixed cultivars meaning that it yields higher volume and sustains a longer shelf life.
