Sultanas are a Thompson Seedless variety of dried grapes. Although harvest and drying seasons are from June to July, they are available all year long due to their long shelf life.

Sultanas are dried with a veg-oil-based solution to fasten the drying process. They have lighter colors depending on how much solution is used. Since the process is quicker than raisins, they are juicier and sweeter.

They are typed according to how light their color is. Rich in fiber, vitamin B, potassium, iron, and calcium, Sultana can help you stay healthy against a wide variety of diseases from Anemia to Gastric Cancer. Turkish Sultana is mainly the produced in the İzmir and Manisa region.
