AB SALMONFARM OY

We have 30 years of experience in fish farming and processing. We manufacture bulk frozen, processed, vacuum packed and fresh products using high quality raw materials. Our products are mainly sold to wholesalers. Our fish farm raises both rainbow trout and whitefish.

Our fishmeal factory produces fishmeal and fish oil. The products produced at the fishmeal mill are processed into fish feed by our partners.

The Liljeqvist family has played an important role in the development of Kasnäsudden. The family started fish farming in the Hitis archipelago in his 80's. At the end of the decade (1989), the family bought a fish processing plant and named the company Ab Salmonfarm Oy.

Business activities have expanded over the years in the fields of production, food and tourism. The biggest investments were the construction of the hotel Kasnas (2000) and the baths (2005), and the construction of the fish meal factory in 2015.

Today, Wilhelm Liljeqvist is his second generation running the company. As a family business, we continue to develop our company over the long term.
