Explotación Bañón

Originally Aceites Bañón is born in 1802 as a family run business devoted to cultivation of olives trees and production of olive oil. Located in Ubeda area, Jaén province, the world´s primary producer of olive oil. In the late 80' starts operations under the trade name of Explotación Bañón S.A. In 2000, began its olive oil bottling process at its premises located at the farm "Las Irijuelas", a cutting-edge technology oil mill plant, which facilitates to expand the client base and the international trade in 2015. Aceites Bañón own two Picual monovarietal brands, to cover both conventional and organic olive oils: Bañón 1802, its premium early nighttime harvesting and OleoSur, its FMCG brand. Bañón 1802 has been recognised with the "Jaén Selección 2021" distinction, which includes the finest extra virgin olive oils, as a mark of excellence.
