AFRECO was introduced in 1978. Jean-Claude Gombert was one of his two founders. The company grew rapidly in exporting agricultural products from West Africa. AFRECO's strength is that it can collect all products within its territory, including Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Ghana.
Kola nuts, sesame seeds, cashew nuts, medicinal plants, and dye plants are some of the many products supplied to cosmetics, food processing, and pharmaceutical companies internationally. Since 2008, AFRECO has been manufacturing and marketing essential oils, vegetable oils, and butter through his agricultural subsidiary AGRILAND.
