AGP is a major agribusiness in the United States. Its primary business is processing and refining soybeans, producing and selling biodiesel, refined soybean oil, and soybean meal. AGP has expanded in size, scope, and reputation since its inception in 1983, both domestically and internationally. They operate ten soybean processing plants in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota, as well as four soybean oil refineries and three biodiesel production facilities, which are owned by local and regional cooperatives representing approximately 200,000 farmers across the United States.
