AGRICULTURAL COOP. OF ASSOS

The headquarters of A.S. Asparagus Producers "ASSOS" (A.S.S. Nea Karya ASSOS) are located in the Greek village of Nea Karya. Kavala.

Since its inception in 1994, the cooperative's primary objective has been to market the asparagus products produced by its members. The Producers' Organization (PO) of the A.S.S. was subsequently founded and has been in operation ever since. "ASSOS," whose produce, including asparagus, kiwis, plums, peaches, pears, apricots, and pomegranates, has garnered praise.

Producers from a larger portion of the Nestos River Plain are members of the cooperative and the OP.
