Agrargesellschaft Chemnitz mbH was founded out of the agricultural cooperative Chemnitz-Zirzow and three agricultural production cooperatives (LPG). The agricultural company is still run by a family today.
The organization is situated in the core of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, in the region of the Mecklenburg Lake Locale, close to the "four-entryway city" of Neubrandenburg.
The agricultural company's farm covers approximately2,000 ha of grassland and arable land.
