Almondco grower Scott Petersen provides a season update for the start of the harvest period.
Scott Petersen is a grower based in Cooltong, South Australia and has been an Almondco grower since 2009.

- Scott tells us a bit about his orchard, how his 2019 crop is looking, as well as what the growing conditions he has experienced thus far.

Simon's almond property is located in Lyryp South Australia on Pike River, a tributary of the River Murray.

The Riverina in New South Wales is an integral growing region for the Almondco Cooperative. It represents 25% of the Almondco crop and the significance of the Riverina as an very important almond growing region will continue to grow as current and future plantings mature.
There are currently 1.8 million almond trees planted in the Riverina and this number is forecast to potentially double within the next five years. Almonds in the NSW Riverina now represent 15% of the national plantings.
