Raspberry production in Mexico has grown 128 times in the last 20 years and is now the second largest producer of the fruit worldwide, according to data provided by Latinometrics. The company specified that although the berries are not an essential part of the Mexican diet, they recently began to be consumed in the winter after promoting their health benefits and in part thanks to the rise of the country in this industry.
