Sebastian and his family of five live in the little town of San Pedro La Laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlan in the country of Guatemala. Matt, now the owner of Buscador, stayed in their home. A connection was created between Sebastian and Matt and he would call Matt Buscador, a "searcher".
Buscador is a winery & tasting room in the Santa Ynez Valley that occupies the same setting in an industrial warehouse. Buscador offers handcrafted wines including Bordeaux varietals Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Rhone varietals including Syrah, Grenache Rose, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and, Burgundian Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winery produces about 500 cases per year.
