supplier to end customer. Not only does CHT trade products, we also handle all aspects of Forwarding

and Clearing from all major ports in South Africa and Mozambique where we have dedicated and

professional people to enable us to render a service second to none.

EXECUTIVE TEAM

Patrick Lakey - Director

A 49 year old HDI (Historically disadvantaged Individual) male who has extensive involvement in the

FMCG sales and distribution. He has been involved in the fishing industry since 2005 and is currently

the CEO of Castle Hill Fishing Company. Patrick owns the exclusive concession rights to harvest Ulva

(sea lettuce) and Porphyra (nori) along the West Coast. He has extensive knowledge and experience

within the Seafood industry as a Boat Owner, Seafood Suppliers, Quota holder (Fishing rights within

South African waters) and extensive trading of seafood products both locally and internationally. Apart

of the Seaweed, Local catches of Rock Lobster and Yellow fin tuna is also caught and exported to Asia

and Eastern countries.

Ashley Slinger – Director Procurement and Sales

Has extensive knowledge of the FMCG market, coupled with Logistical and Procurement background.

He has been in Europe for over 15 years while prominently working in the fish Industry for both

Imports and Exports. Not only from a supplying point of view but also from a production point. He

understands the fish market and plays an important role in Sales and Marketing of most fish products.

Ashley Slinger brings to us as a company a wide range of knowledge and expertise. Ashley Slinger will

head up the Logistics and Supply Chain as well as Sales and Marketing division of Castle Hill Fishing,

both locally and internationally. He is also well known for his process development knowledge and

expertise, which will allow Castle Hill Fishing to be a world class company within the trading industry.
