Company Story
The company started over 57 years ago in 1965 by three brothers born and bred in the Seychelles islands. Their main business is the import of household goods and the export of commodities. Over the years, the company, Chaka Brothers (Pty) Ltd, has been involved in the import, wholesale and retail of household goods from all over the world as well as the export of local commodities which, today, comprise only the high-quality cinnamon bark and chippings that are produced and harvested in Seychelles. Our bark is known for its high cinnamon oil content.
The quantity of cinnamon bark produced varies from month to month, but on average one full container load (20ft FCL) can be exported after proper verification and phytosanitary certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture and tests conducted by the Seychelles Bureau of Standards.
