These Angolan roasted cocoa beans are sourced from Coimbra Cambolo Prestação de Serviço e Comércio (SU) Lda and harvested from smallholder farms near Morro Bento. Unlike typical raw beans, they are carefully roasted and packed in 800‑gram raffia sacks, ready for immediate use in cocoa beverages or confectionery production.
A recent laboratory bulletin from the National Service for Food Quality Control in Luanda certifies that the beans are free of E. coli and Salmonella and contain very low levels of Staphylococcus organisms. Physicochemical tests show a moisture content of 3.95 %, ash of 3.66 %, and fat content of 32.31 %, indicating a high‑quality, well‑roasted product with excellent storage stability.
Angola may be a smaller cocoa producer compared with Côte d’Ivoire or Ghana, but its unique terroir and careful roasting yield beans with a rich, aromatic flavour profile. These beans are ideal for buyers seeking distinctive origins or ready‑to‑use roasted cocoa for niche beverages and specialty products. Each lot is traceable and has a long shelf life, expiring on 31 May 2026.
