In 1929, Mr. José Rosário arrived in Brazil, with a fascinating idea: producing and marketing food products. After years of effort and work, Mr. Rosario opened a small cassava flour factory, initially intended for the production of maize flour.
With a great market vision, in 1940 Mr. Rosario began to develop his own techniques for the production of cassava flour, which still help in our production line nowadays.
As a result of these techniques, a lot of study, work and dedication in 1944 was created The Farinha Deusa. Mr.Rosario found on the cover of a magazine, the drawing of a woman holding a torch , with a twinkling star on her head and he choose the name and the definitive form for his product: Deusa. Brand that is a symbol of reliability, safety and tradition so far. After the death of Mr. José Rosário in 1963, FARINHA DEUSA became the MONJOLINHO FOOD INDUSTRY – Deusa FOOD, which, provides in Brazil and the world the best and most tasty cassava flour.
The ISO 9001, has planned and systematic actions and provides a system for quality assurance, providing food reliability as a result of meeting the requirements described above.
The Deusa Food, concerned with the full compliance of the quality in its food, pursued and won the ISO 9001 quality seal, guaranteed by an effective quality management system, becoming the first flour factory in the country to have this certificate. Our company is successfully conducted and operated as it has transparent and systematic direction and control. Success is the result of the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System designed to continually improve performance while taking into account the needs of all stakeholders.
