Le Rêve is a highly respected tête de cuvée - our winery’s finest sparkling
wine and frequently named America’s Best Sparkling. French for “the dream,”
Le Rêve is crafted from 100% estate grown Chardonnay, making it a pure
expression of Domaine Carneros.
On the nose, the classic Le Rêve captivates with lovely notes of honeysuckle, lime blossoms, grilled pineapple, brioche, and a hint of ginger. The palate opens up to honeycomb, yuzu, and notes of a fresh baked lemon pie. This wine displays depth and purity that leads to a long, elegant finish. As with many great wines, 2014 Le Rêve has been crafted to be long-lived and will continue to evolve for decades in the cellar. Delicious now, but there will be additional benefits for those who can wait.

Verméil (vehr-MAY) is a Demi-Sec, or lightly sweet sparkling wine. Modern tastes have driven most fine sparkling wines to the dry side; however, an extra touch of dosage makes for a delightful experience.

Staying true to form in honoring the 2017 vintage, our Verméil opens with aromas of honey suckle, cherry blossom, tangerine, and apples that beckon on a delicate mousse of bubbles. Luscious flavors evoke notes of honey, baked apple, ginger, marmalade, and lychee filling the wine's long finish and approachable mid-palate.

Two decades ago we created our first Blanc de Noir- a white sparkling wine made from black Pinot Noir grapes. Our experimentation yielded a precious few cases of a truly unique California sparkling wine, with hallmark Blanc de Noir characteristics of fruity fleshiness and a bit more body and texture. We continue to produce this cult favorite in very small quantities and sell it exclusively at the winery.

Our Blanc de Noir opens up with wonderful notes of baked apple, white cherry, graham cracker, and lychee. The palate continues to entice with more cherry accompanied by flavors of white peaches, honeydew melon, and tangerine. There is a deep complexity that is enhanced by the extra year of aging this vintage received in the bottle. Soft, round and thought provoking this wine presents a generous mousse.
