FELDHOF

Since 1981, the Feldhof has been leased to the Tschudin family. The proprietor left the farm in 1988 to immigrate to France. What can I do? The young family was unable to purchase the farm, putting not only this healthy piece of land in danger but also the well-known St. Gallen market stall.

A group of customers and representatives of the biodynamic movement decided to form a cooperative, raise funds, and purchase the Feldhof with the money they raised. The concept was received well. It worked out! The cooperative purchased the Feldhof. Over the past 30 years, the Feldhof cooperative has happily supported itself and demonstrated itself. A new stable and a company building with a vegetable store were built. Land could likewise be rented from the area. The Tschudin-Rascher family moved to the Feldhof in 2008, and now two generations, along with their employees, apprentices, and interns, work on the farm with joy and vigor.
