Finca Las Mercedes consists of 15 hectares of a family run & operated farm. Our coffee plantations are intercropped with avocado trees and ''guineo'' plants to provide a half shaded and a more balanced environment for our specialty coffee plantations. As a family we have grown coffee for the past 50 years and we are now the third generation of producers.
Finca Las Mercedes is located in ''La Zona de Los Santos'' in San Pablo de León Cortés, San José, Costa Rica. We are part of the coffee origin ''Tarrazú'' - an area that is commonly known and positioned as one of the best in the world for specialty coffee production.

Characterized by our artesanal process, each grain is hand picked and sun dried through a delicate and soft process that aims to maintain every floral, herbal and fruity note.

Coffee plantations
Las Mercedes specialty coffee is grown surrounded by the mountains of Tarrazú, providing the ideal altitude to develop a clean acidity and unique flavors that distinguish the taste of specialty coffee.
From the farm to the cup
We also carry out a tasting of different varieties of coffee that provide unique flavors and aromas typical of specialty coffee.
