Frutas Tereso - Comércio de Frutos & Hortícolas Lda.

- Established in 1996, Frutas Tereso produces and sells citrus fruits - oranges, clementines, mandarins and lemons. Their children, David and Diana, joined the business and today, with a team of more than 60 employees full of Vitamin C, Frutas Tereso is one of the most important companies in the Algarve in this sector.
- Manages about 300 ha of Frutas Tereso’s own production, together with around 500 ha of growers partners, producing about 23k MT per year.
- Has modern refrigeration and sorting complex, with 4000 sqm of covered area, including eight cold rooms each with a 1200 MT capacity to store citrus fruit, and equipped with state-of-the-art industrial machinery to ensure the best conservation, grading and packaging.
- Exports mainly to Spain, Netherlands, France and Switzerland.
- The focus on quality is visible in the implementation of programs such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Global GAP. Frutas Tereso follows product traceability, process quality control and post-harvest control practices, including levels of fungal contamination.
