FRUTI-TAIPINA was born as a family business in the place of Gândara, near the city of Cantanhede, in the Region of Coimbra, on the Atlantic coast of the Iberian Peninsula.
Taking advantage of a legacy since the 1950s in the fruit business and an even older tradition in fruit growing, the Taipina Family creates FRuti-TAIPINA in 1989, as we know it today.
The company has developed, taking advantage of the huge know-how and has become a modern and cutting-edge company, ensuring the highest quality standards. FRUTI-TAIPINA has selected a group of qualified producers occupying a prominent position in the production, promotion and distribution in the fruit and vegetable market. It manages and organizes this group and thanks to the work of over 100 employees, it guarantees a wide range of products and solutions.
Our products come from selected plantations and affiliated Portuguese producers. In this way the company guarantees high quality standards throughout the year.
