Badami pistachio: The Badami pistachio has a fairly elongated appearance and resembles almond. This is the main reason why this type of pistachio is named .Badami is a type of long pistachio Iran and is very similar to Ahmad Aghaei pistachio. Ahmad Aghaei pistachio is one of the largest types of pistachios in Iran and has a good field for export. (The lowest weight among other pistachio varieties),

Ahmad Aghaei Pistachio: This type is long pistachio with very white and very thin skin. This type of pistachio is a great source of healthy fats, fiber, protein, antioxidants and various nutrients, including vitamin B6 and potassium. Production of this variety is increasing. Available sizes of Iranian Long Pistachio are 20/22, 22-24 and 24/26, with 18/20 also available in small quantities.

Kalehghochi Pestachio: This nut is famous for being large. This kind is broad with an opened mouth .The unique taste of this pistachio is due to its high fat volume.. the normal sorted kalleh ghouchi pistachio, grade 20-22 pcs/oz has Max 5% moisture, Max 2% C/M, Max 2.5% semi-open.

This type is the highest economic value and traditional .Its fruits are large and almond shaped. This is a newer variety with good yield and with long, large nuts. Available sizes of Iranian Long Pistachio are 20/22, 22-24 and 24/26.

Fandoghi Pestachio: This cultivar is the most widely available pistachio variety and grows in most pistachio growing areas of Iran. Fandoghi is of round type and has the lowest shape index among the four cultivars. It comes in the following sizes 28/30, 30/32 and 32/34 nuts per ounce.
